Why Lumina
Two doctors, one plan, and a result you see before it becomes permanent. If you are nervous about the chair, or if a previous treatment let you down, this is the part where that changes.
Lip line, facial proportion, skin tone and the way you speak all shape the design. It is why the results hold up in photographs and in person, not only in the mirror at the office.
Photos, a 3D scan and a digital design come first. Then a physical trial smile goes over your teeth, so you can talk, smile and take pictures with it before a single tooth is prepared. If something is not yours yet, we adjust it.
Dr. Cynthia Alfonso designs and restores. Dr. Reynaldo Novoa places implants and handles surgical cases. Nothing gets referred out, nothing gets lost between two offices, and one plan carries your case from start to finish.

Your smile design session is complimentary. Photographs, a 3D scan and a conversation, and you leave with a plan, a timeline and an itemized price. Nothing is added along the way.
A trial smile goes over your teeth, so you see the result before any tooth is prepared. Talk with it, smile with it, photograph it, and we adjust it until it looks like you.
Most smile designs are completed in two to three visits. After that you stop thinking about your teeth in photographs, in meetings and in the mirror, which is the point.

Yes. New patients are welcome and most consultations are scheduled within a week. Request an appointment through the form on this page or message us on WhatsApp, and our patient coordinator replies within one business day.
It depends on how many teeth are involved, the condition of the teeth underneath and the material chosen. At your smile design consultation you receive an itemized price for the entire plan before treatment begins, and monthly payment plans are available.
We accept most PPO plans and file claims on your behalf. Restorative treatment is often covered at least in part, while cosmetic treatment usually is not. Our financing coordinator checks your benefits before your visit so there are no surprises.
Yes. Your case begins with photographs and a 3D scan used to build a digital design. Before any tooth is prepared, a physical trial smile is placed over your teeth so you can speak, smile and photograph the result, and ask for changes.
Most smile designs are completed in two to three visits after the consultation. Implant and full mouth cases take longer because healing time is involved. Your exact timeline comes with your treatment plan, not after treatment starts.
Yes. Dr. Cynthia Alfonso removes existing veneers using a Fotona laser. Patients who are unhappy with work done elsewhere are a regular part of the practice, and the process starts the same way: photographs, a scan and a direct conversation about what can be changed.
No, and it is more common than people assume. The first visit is an evaluation and a conversation, not treatment. Nothing happens that day beyond the exam, and the plan is built around where your mouth is now.
Lumina is on East Atlantic Boulevard in Pompano Beach, Florida, with free parking in front of the building. Most patients come from Pompano Beach, Fort Lauderdale, Deerfield Beach and Boca Raton, and some travel from other states.
Yes. The doctors and the front desk team work in English and Spanish, and you can write to us on WhatsApp in either language.
